16 weeks, 4 Days
We went to the hospital to see the baby for the second time on Friday. All four of our parents were there as well as my sister Cassie- we thought it would be neat to all find out together. We weren’t really supposed to get this one but that's one of the perks of having my sis work at a hospital. Cassie has a sonogram machine on her floor and her friend Stephanie agreed she would take a look. We were all crowded around the screen when antipicating a BOY, but we saw nothing but umbilical chord. It was wrapped all around it's boy/ girl parts. We looked for over an hour! After jumping up and down and peeing 3 times, we decided that today just wasn't the day. We also heard the heartbeat for the very first time! The h/b was 170. The Old Wives Tale says that below 150 is a boy and above is a girl. All along, I’ve felt like it is a BOY, but have talked to so many people who just “knew” they were having a boy and then found out it was, in fact, a girl! So, let’s just say I’m not painting the nursery any time soon. Clint claims he wants a boy, but whenever I tell him it could just as easily be a girl he gets a little sparkle in his eye. ;) We should find out in our next appt. on April 7th. Oh! And I’m starting to show a bit. err, a lot. Belly Pic coming soon!
